She’s known for her fabulously flamboyant sense of style, and her love of particularly eccentric headpieces.
So what better person to open hat designer Philip Treacy’s London Fashion Week showcase than the brilliantly bonkers Lady Gaga.
Appearing on stage at London’s Royal Courts of Justice this evening (Sunday) wearing a futuristic hot pink cape which completely covered her eyes, the star declared the event officially open.

Eccentic: Lady Gaga donned a flamboyant floral headpiece as she attended Philip Treacy’s London Fashion Week showcase
Aside from a pair of towering silver platform boots and a giant blue star-shaped ring by Swarovski, the 26-year-old singer seemed to be only wearing a nude bodysuit and a pair of blue patterned tights as she took to the catwalk.
But Gaga didn’t let the attention end there, and ensured she positively stole the show in a flamboyant floral headpiece as she took her seat on the front row.
The New Yorker wowed onlookers with the multicoloured creation which left only a small part of her face poking through.
Kooky: The singer paired her headpiece with an emerald green prom-style dress with velvet detailing

Teaming her over the top accessory with a jade green velvet-embossed prom-style dress, the star looked wonderfully wacky as she sat chatting to Treacy himself on the front row.
A pair of bottle green heeled boots and glittery leggings finished off Gaga’s London Fashion Week look.
The Poker Face hitmaker was joined on the front row by a number of other stars, including burlesque performer Dita Von Teese and Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall, who was spotted chatting animatedly to musician Bryan Ferry.

Treacy told The Guardian: ‘She plans to [do an internship]. She’s already visited me. This is what happened: one Monday morning, four burly bodyguards arrived – Lady Gaga’s security team – to check out the security of the building.
‘I looked at them as if to say: what?! Who is going to take a pot shot at Lady Gaga? Anyway, she is young, talented and peculiar – which I like.’
The star later left the fashion bash wearing a pair of giant Mickey Mouse-style ears.

She teamed her unusual choice of headgear with a cream crystal-adorned tuxedo jacket, a black shirt and black leggings.
And the Alejandro hitmaker accessorised her ensemble further with a white Swarovski-enmbossed Michael Jackson-style glove, and towering black lace-up boots.
Gaga looked decidedly less flamboyant as she arrived at a London airport this morning on a private jet from her native New York.
Wearing a relatively simple chocolate brown dress, the star piled her locks high on her head and stepped off the plane barefoot.
