Lady Gaga trades one 'monstrous' look for another as she's spotted wearing a hairy skirt followed by a skintight blue outfit during photo shoot

She’s just joined the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel.

And on Friday Lady Gaga seemed to be in a bit of a monstrous mood as she wore a very shaggy and very hairy white skirt.

Then the 28-year-old followed up her first unique look with a skintight blue leather dress as she was spotted on a photo shoot in New York City.

Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – wore a plunging sleeveless satin crop top which she styled with a fur fringed white skirt and silver strappy heels.

The fiancee of Taylor Kinney showed off her toned arms and lean legs while leaving her NYC home but was later seen braving the chilly weather in a faux fur long coat with her blonde tresses styled loose.

She accessorized her look with dangling red earrings and most sparkling of all, her diamond engagement ring.

Later in the night, as she worked on a photo shoot, Gaga was spotted donning a bizarre long-sleeved blue dress, which was fitted to the singer’s curves and revealed a bit of cleavage.

She coupled that with a coordinating hat, and bright, amber-colored beads that appeared to hang down from the singer’s eyebrows, blocking her eyes.

She was made up with bright red lips and a bold cat eye for the filming, and sported a short black wig.

Blue suede heels finished off her look, while she was spotted filming outside of a bar in the Lower East Side of New York City.

A third outfit change saw the songstress donning a bright yellow feathered ensemble as she was photographed in the back of a car.

She was back to her blonde locks for this curious look, and at times was covered up in a white faux fur coat.

On Wednesday, Mother Monster revealed she is the first cast member to officially check into American Horror Story: Hotel.

The clip also reveals her name in the script used for the show’s credits and its start date – ‘October.’

And two days later, AHS verified that ‘this October, will you check in to the Hotel?’ on Twitter with a banner of the upcoming show.

‘Make your reservation now,’ she tweeted along with a video of herself dressed in a black encrusted ensemble and matching face mask.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘AHS vets Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Jessica Lange are unlikely to return to the franchise due to other commitments.’

Emma was recently cast in creator Ryan Murphy’s newest FOX show Scream Queens and Sarah was chosen for the role of Marcia Clark in the upcoming American Crime Story: The People V. OJ Simpson.

Gaga has had small roles in a few films including Men in Black 3 – and an uncredited appearance in an episode of The Sopranos – but this will be her first starring role as an actress.

American Horror Story is an anthology series with a different plot each season.
