Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered an ankle injury and was ruled out for the remainder of Baltimore’s 27-24 win against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Beckham, 30, had been targeted four times with three catches for 29 yards when he was ruled out in the third quarter.
The veteran receiver signed a one-year contract with Ravens in April. He caught two passes for 37 yards in Baltimore’s opening week win over Houston.
He missed the entire 2022 season while rehabbing an ACL injury that he suffered in Super Bowl LVI while playing for the Los Angeles Rams.
The Ravens had already entered Week 2 minus five starters, with running back J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) on injured reserve and safety Marcus Williams (pectoral), offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee), center Tyler Linderbaum (ankle) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (foot) all inactive.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Beckham has recorded 536 catches for 7,433 yards and 56 touchdowns in 98 career games, including 93 starts, with the Giants, Browns, Rams and Ravens.
He exceeded 1,000 receiving yards in five of his first six seasons.
Meanwhile, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was 24 for 33 for 237 yards on Sunday.
Beckham Jr. is only playing for the second time since tearing his ACL in Super Bowl LVI in 2022
