Yet Drake had fully transformed into a proud papa on Sunday when he shared a heartwarming photo of his son Adonis, two.
The 33-year-old superstar rapper posted the photo to Instagram while celebrating ‘all the real g’z’ on Father’s Day.

Adonis looked a bit groggy in the photo and appeared to have just woken up in bed.
He had on a white pajama top covered in multicolored stars and sports a shock of curly dark blonde hair.

Though he didn’t include a photo, Drake also tagged his father Dennis Graham in the picture.

But it wasn’t until late March of this year that the In My Feelings rapper finally shared photos of his son’s face on Instagram.

It’s unclear if the hitmaker has reunited with his son yet, or if his father’s day photo was taken by Sophie, but he was clearly longing to be with him back in March.
‘I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite,’ he concluded his lengthy post.

Drake later admitted it was a great relief for him to finally share his own photos of Adonis with the world and his fans.
‘It was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world,’ the four-time Grammy winner revealed on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio on Apple Music.
‘I just woke up one morning and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do.’
The God’s plan rapper described the experience as ‘freeing.’
‘I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don’t want to feel like, just, because of a life choice I made to be a celebrity, that I got to make everybody live under this blanket,’ he added.
