Premier League clubs have suffered a hit after LaLiga president Javier Tebas’ said he expects Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid.
The Paris Saint-Germain will see his contract expire at the end of the season and there has been no sign of a renewal yet.

It has given top clubs around Europe the chance to potentially snap up the World Cup winner on a free transfer in the summer.
That includes Liverpool, who have long been linked with the France international, and Manchester City, who have the funds necessary to bring him to the Premier League.
But Tebas has handed the English clubs a blow with his latest comments surrounding Real Madrid’s interest in Mbappe.
He has been quoted saying by Fabrizio Romano: “There is a high probability that Mbappe will arrive at Real Madrid. More than 50 per cent.
“It’s a personal opinion… it depends on Real Madrid, they will decide.”
Real Madrid are the hot favourites to sign Mbappe this summer after a long pursuit stretching several years.
Mbappe has yet to make a decision on his future, or at the very least made his decision public.
But there are comparisons between this year’s interest from Real Madrid and the same interest from two years ago.

Like 2024, Mbappe’s contract was set to expire at PSG in 2022.
With days left on his deal and many believing that he was about to join Los Blancos, he dramatically penned a two-year extension at the Parc des Princes.
Whether Mbappe repeats such theatrics this year remains to be seen while Liverpool and City could still steal in.
