Inter Miami is once again, making room for Lionel Messi to shine.
On January 31st, the club announced that its home ground DRV PNK Stadium would be increasing its capacity to 21,000 to accommodate fans who want to see Messi live.
“Due to the unprecedented demand for tickets, the Club made these seating enhancements to host as many fans as possible at home matches,” the club said in a press release.
“With the new seating, an additional 1,200 single match tickets are available for purchase beginning on Wednesday, January 31st.”
Inter Miami is set to kick off the season at home on February 21st against Real Salt Lake. Furthermore, construction on the club’s permanent residence Miami Freedom Park is underway and set to open in summer 2025.

Inter Miami has been putting in the work this pre-season, with the Herons taking trips to El Salvador, Dallas, and Saudi Arabia.
Though there’s still time before the season begins, the Herons are working through the rust to challenge for MLS Cup.
Already, Miami has added the likes of Luis Suarez, Julian Gressel, and Nicolas Freire.
With Messi’s second full season in Major League Soccer, tons of eyes and wallets will turn their attention to South Florida.
As the season inches closer, expect the hype for the 2024 season to continue.
