On February 13, it was reported that BLACKPINK icon Lisa would be starring in the next season of HBO‘s acclaimed series The White Lotus.
According to an exclusive report from Variety, Lisa will be credited under her given name, Lalisa Manobal. Filming and production for the drama will begin later this month in Thailand, specifically in the areas of Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok.
Most significant is the fact that the upcoming season will mark the acting debut of the global icon. Netizens couldn’t help but express their excitement for Lisa, who is taking a huge leap in her career. Many fans also expressed shock at the amount of news coming out from Lisa’s camp just months into the new year.
