Sotheby’s is hosting an NBA auction which features items from the inaugural In-Season Tournament – including 13 game-worn jerseys from the champion Los Angeles Lakers.
The jerseys being sold in the auction were worn by the Lakers in their semifinal game against the New Orleans Pelicans and are all being sold as one item.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis feature in this collection, as do the rest of the members of the team which went on to win the inaugural tournament.
That 13-jersey collection has a starting bid of $200,000 and is expected to be sold for between $250,000-$500,000
In addition, James’ so-called ‘City Edition’ jersey that he wore in the quarterfinals against the Phoenix Suns is being sold.

In addition, LeBron James’ game-worn jersey from the quarterfinals is being sold separately
James wore that in a game against the Phoenix Suns where he dropped a double-double
In that game against Phoenix, James put up a double-double of 31 points, eight rebounds, eleven assists, and five steals.
That jersey already has a bid of $42,000 on it and is expected to fetch somewhere between $80,000-$120,000.
Los Angeles claimed the first ever In-Season Tournament crown in Las Vegas with a victory over the Indiana Pacers.
James was named the competition’s MVP as the Lakers went a perfect 7-0 throughout the tournament.
