Sanji versus Kizaru is a fight that was inevitably going to happen in One Piece at some point. In fact, this is something that fans knew even before the timeskip happened. In fact, he even showcased his superior defense against a Seraphim, who fans know are impossible to penetrate, to begin with.

When it comes to the light-shattering power that Sanji displayed in One Piece chapter 1107, the clue lies in the exoskeleton itself. Essentially, the exoskeleton that Sanji has, had boosted his strength and physical attributes considerably. Sanji is even stronger than his siblings by far at this point in the story, and that just goes to show that the exoskeleton has strengthened a lot due to Sanji having emotions, and undergoing better training. Sanji also has added muscle mass, and of course, the willpower to take attacks so strong head-on.
