On February 22, the Met Gala’s official Instagram account announced a partial guest list to attend the event in 2024. This is the most anticipated and discussed fashion event in the world, so the guest list receives a lot of attention from the audience.

In it, eagle-eyed fans noticed the names of three BLACKPINK members , Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa, all appearing in the guest list. This makes fans extremely excited and looking forward to the historic moment when all three stars walk on the red carpet of this year’s Met Gala. However, some people wonder when Jennie is absent from the current guest list and speculate about whether the female idol’s name will appear on the full list or not.

Previously, both Rosé and Jennie appeared at the Met Gala and “stirred up” the media. With Rosé, the “Australian rose” walking the red carpet of events in 2021 and Jennie last year.

Several K-Pop idols also appeared on this year’s guest list including GOT7’s Jackson, V, Jungkook, BTS’s Jimin and Stray Kids’ Hyunjin.

As previously announced by Vogue, next year’s Met Gala theme will be “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute will celebrate vintage pieces in an exhibition dedicated to 50 accessories and garments that are historically significant but too delicate to wear again.
