Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds returned to their special place where it was love at first bite.

The couple celebrated Reynolds’ 40th birthday recently at Japanese restaurant O Ya in New York City as seen in Lively’s Instagram on Tuesday. “@_o_ya_ We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVORITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds . Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin’,” the actress captioned a cute photo of her and the birthday boy.

Inside the high-end eatery, which boasts four dollar signs on Yelp, Lively, 29, decorated with ribbons and two gold mylar balloons that spelled out her husband’s age. Also around the room were pictures from their relationship. Reynolds held onto a photo from his 35th birthday party – around the time they first started dating – that documented the couple’s tradition of capturing candid cuddly moments together.

Taylor Swift reacted to Lively’s photo by commenting, “Thanks guys now I’m drowning in tears of joy,” along with a cry face emoji, hearts and a champagne bottle. Fellow squad member Karlie Kloss also left a comment writing, “everything goals.”

Missing from the pair’s romantic photo were their children: 22-month-old James and their second child, who is three-weeks-old. The parents of two, who married in 2012, have yet to reveal the baby’s sex or name.

But Reynolds may have recently disclosed that they welcomed another daughter. The actor had fans freaking out when he made a joke on Twitter about his daughter’s crib. “The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings. So she remembers how lucky she is,” he tweeted.

One thing that is for sure: this couple knows how to wish each other a happy birthday.
