According to the Mayo Clinic, ‘Tourette (too-RET) syndrome is a disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics) that can’t be easily controlled.

‘For instance, you might repeatedly blink your eyes, shrug your shoulders or blurt out unusual sounds or offensive words.’

The 20-year-old musician – who recently split with TikTok star Charli D’Amelio (seen in April 2023) – took to social media to share a short video as he got candid about his nervous system disorder

Landon went on to talk candidly about when he was diagnosed as a young child.

He explained: ‘I’ve had it since I can remember, like preschool.

‘I remember exactly ’cause a teacher used to accuse me of rolling my eyes at her. Because one of the tics was like that. It was like a weird thing I do with my eyes.’

The son of Travis and  48-year-old actress and model Shanna Moakler talked about when the symptoms are noticeable.

He said: ‘Yeah, it really just acts up in nervous situations and nerve-racking environments for me.

‘But I thought I’d just share because why not?’

Last month it revealed that he had split from social media star Charli.

Barker published an Instagram statement Tuesday, February 6 confirming the breakup.

WHAT IS TOURETTE’S SYNDROME?

Tourette’s syndrome is a neurological condition characterised by a combination of involuntary noises and movements called tics.

It usually starts during childhood and continues into adulthood. Tics can be either be vocal or physical.

In many cases Tourette’s syndrome runs in families and it’s often associated with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Tourette’s syndrome is named after the French doctor, Georges Gilles de la Tourette, who first described the syndrome and its symptoms in the 19th century.

There’s no cure for Tourette’s syndrome, but treatment can help to control the symptoms.

‘Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together,’ the teen wrote.

He then revealed that he and Charli — whose couple name was ‘Chardon’ — came to the decision amicably and that they remain friends.

‘We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other.

‘I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much!’ Landon concluded.

Charli — who is the most followed person on TikTok — has yet to comment publicly on the split.

The couple were last photographed publicly on November 16 as they attended the 18th annual L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration in Hollywood.

They first sparked romance rumors in June 2022 after being spotted together on several occasion in LA, including Charli’s big sister Dixie’s birthday party.

They didn’t confirm they were dating until July.

Landon was hugely supportive of Charli during her winning stint on Dancing With The Stars in late 2022 and even attended a live taping of the show.

Meanwhile, Charli received the seal of approval from Landon’s dad Travis and stepmom Kourtney Kardashian.

‘They have been nothing but kind to me,’ she gushed to PEOPLE in 2022. ‘I’m very, very thankful that he has such a great family around him.’

Charli rang in 2024 with her friends and has seemingly wiped nearly all traces of Landon from her Instagram.

She did leave their Coachella 2023 photos and images from their Mini V cover.

Landon is the eldest child of rocker Travis Barker, 48, and former beauty queen Shanna Moakler, 48.
