UFC president Dana White has announced that UFC 306 will be held at the Las Vegas Sphere on September 14.
As reported by Bleacher Report, White also revealed that UFC 303 will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 29.
No card has yet been announced for either of the Las Vegas pay-per-view events.
UFC 306 could be one of the biggest events in UFC history and may see Conor McGregor make his return to action at the Sphere, which cost £1.9billion to build.
McGregor’s last fight was in July 2021, when he was beaten by Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. During the fight McGregor was unable to continue after breaking his leg.

White previously stated that McGregor will fight this year and the timings appear to add up with regards to him featuring at UFC 306.
Speaking on the Jim Rome Show, White said: ‘Conor will fight this year. I’m thinking the fall, sometime in the fall. He won’t be on (UFC) 300.’
In total, McGregor has won 22 and lost six of his MMA matches, with Michael Chandler expected to be his next opponent.
The Sphere, known for its immersive video and audio capabilities, opened last year.
The Sphere, which cost £1.9billion to build, opened last year in Las Vegas, Nevada
