She’s had her fair share of fashion fails throughout her career but as she waved goodbye to her twenties, she seemed to finally find her feet in world of fashion.
But returning to her former self on Thursday Britney Spears failed to put all that she had learned about how to look good to use.
The 30-year-old was pictured in Los Angeles picking up a few bits from an Old Navy store in an ensemble that truly battled the seasons.

Ready for winter in a short sleeved turquoise polo neck, Britney bizarrely chose to team the cotton top with a pair of stone coloured short shorts.
With the bottom half of her outfit adhering to the sunny Californian weather, a pair of grey suede peep toe heels completed her look.
The mother-of-two wore her blonde locks, which feature highlights of blue up in a messy bun, and went heavy on the eye make-up whilst accessorising with pieces of silver jewellery.
Spears beamed as she left the store with several bags in hand, no doubt full of gifts for her boys Sean and Jayden Federline.

The latest figures will hopefully be reassurance to Cowell that his recent shake-up, which saw him dismiss Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from the panel, will help make the show successful.
The music mogul is likely to be delighted about the victory, as he previously blasted NBC bosses for moving The Voice’s time slot so it directly competed with The X Factor USA.
And enjoying watching herself on her TV screen, on Wednesday Britney tweeted: ‘Another #xfactor week gone bye. Single tear! SO happy with how these episodes turned out :)’.
