Ryan Reynolds has mocked Rob McElhenney’s ‘reckless spending’ as Wrexham announced a new partner with an amusing video on social media.
The Hollywood A-listers, and co-owners of the League Two side posted a video to the club’s social media accounts to announce the arrival of American bank Ally as a new club partner.
However, typically for the two actors, it was no ordinary announcement video.
Instead, the pair were shown in a mock press conference to announce the new deal, where Reynolds amusingly mocks McElhenney for the amount of money he’s spending on the club.
Reynolds mockingly accuses the Always Sunny in Philadelphia star of ‘reckless spending’ and refers to him sending the players to Las Vegas, building a temporary stand and even TV show ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.

It’s the latest venture for the club, who are aiming for a second successive promotion after finally getting out of the National League last season.
