Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid turned up the heat on their red-hot romance as they were spotted on a dinner date in New York City on Friday.

The Maestro star, 49, and the supermodel, 28 — who had to cancel their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party — enjoyed a casual night out at Cucina Alba Italian Restaurant in the heart of the Big Apple.

Rocking a colorful varsity jacket and khaki pants, the Oscar-nominated director looked handsome as he walked a few steps behind his gorgeous partner.

The catwalk queen, meanwhile, looked every inch the fashionista in her black leather motorcycle jacket, V-neck sweater and baggy denim.

The outing comes a week after the couple looked totally loved up at a PDA-filled dinner at Via Carota, as they attended a party for Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski‘s birthday.

The father-of-one was ‘in good form and smiling’ at the event, a source told People, adding that he and Gigi were ‘cute’ together.

‘They all seemed happy and were having fun,’ the source stated, adding that Cooper is a ‘regular’ at the eatery and staff ‘is used to seeing him.’

This comes after a source told Us Weekly that Gigi did not walk the red carpet with boyfriend Bradley Cooper at the Vanity Fair Oscar party like she was scheduled to do because she had to fly back to New York City at the last minute for work.

Gigi was not present at Bradley’s side at the Oscars, with the Maestro director-writer-star, taking his mother Gloria Campano to the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre.

Bradley often takes his mom to awards ceremonies, which prompted a joke from host Jimmy Kimmel.

‘Bradley brings his mother to every award show, right? Last year at the Oscars, and the Tonys and the Soul Train Awards. It’s very sweet, but I guess the question is ― how many times can one bring his mom as his date before he is actually dating his mom?’ the late night talk show host said.

‘Are you working on a movie about Freud right now and not telling us?’

Fans expected Cooper and Hadid to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party after the ceremony ended.

But neither of them made it to the A-List event. A source told Us Weekly that Gigi left for New York City ahead of the weekend.

This follows a report that Bradley and Gigi were introduced by his former partner and the mother of his daughter, Irina Shayk, 37.

‘Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry,’ a source told The Messenger on Wednesday.

‘Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings,’ the source continued.

Bradley and Irina, who split in 2019 after four years together, share 6-year-old daughter Lea, while Gigi co-parents her 3-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik.

‘Gigi and Bradley were in touch recently, and were bonding over their daughters, when Bradley asked her out,’ the source said, before adding,’ He pursued her and she was definitely interested and excited’.

Late last year, Gigi was linked with Leonardo DiCaprio, and her new romance with Bradley is calling for something a bit more low-key.

‘They have been casually seeing each other but it is extremely new,’ the source continued. ‘Gigi has expressed she does not want a serious relationship.

‘They have a lot in common, and both relate to being parents in the industry. She wants to get into acting and is intrigued by Bradley’s perspective and guidance. It is very casual at this point.’

As for Bradley, insiders say his interest in the catwalk queen is off the charts.

A source told DailyMail.com exclusively that the performer is ‘very excited’ about a love match and that Gigi is ‘exactly his type.’

‘He hasn’t felt this excitement about a woman in a very long time,’ the source added.
