Brothers Battle Over Questions Of Father’s Guilt-Why Are Danny And Jake Divided Over Jason?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease two brothers battle over questions of their father’s guilt. Why are Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jake Webber (Hudson West) divided over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Danny Morgan Trusts Jason Morgan, Jake Webber Doesn’t

Danny trusts  but Jake doesn’t-therein lies the root of the problems between the two boys over their birth father.

Yet, Jake learned to trust his stepbrother Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) who’d done even worse things than Jason had-although his bad behavior was due to a brain tumor.

Plus, a much younger Jake took to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) right away and both boys bonded to him when he was thought to be Jason.

So what is the difference now, that the two are teenagers instead of young boys? What happened to make Danny trust and believe in him and Jake not to?

GH Spoilers – Perhaps Danny Morgan Got To Know Jason Morgan Better?

Even though Jason’s been gone and presumed dead A LOT since Danny and Jake have been living, it’s really no more than Drew has since he came to town.

The two no longer identical twins are about one for one now, with Drew missing and presumed dead once and in prison once, which of course created an absence.

Jason has been presumed dead twice-both of them victims of Cassadines the first time, before Drew was even known of, the two twins separated at birth.

Even so, perhaps Danny got to know Jason better than Jake did-and guns are a turnoff to Jake, and so are mobsters-at first Jason was blamed for Franco’s murder.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is There More Under The Surface Driving Jake Webber’s Fury?

Might there be more under the surface that’s driving Jake’s fury and blame of Jason for shooting Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)?

You’d think he’d have been angrier at Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) for roping his mother into aiding and abetting himself and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

He should have been angry at anyone with the name Cassadine after what he went through kidnapped on Cassadine Island.

And yet he had a huge crush on Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and became very protective of her: could it be guns themselves that trigger his anger?

He never displayed any fury at Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for shooting Charlotte-although she still hates herself for it-is he really angry at Jason, or at the gun?
