After releasing her single ‘I LUV IT‘, Cabello shared a statement explaining how some of the ‘emotional drama‘ in her love life inspired the song.

‘Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,’ she said.

‘Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion,’ added Cabello.

‘It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.’

During a recent interview with Star, Cabello admitted she gets ‘the wandering eye‘ around ‘the year-and-a-half mark’ of her relationships.

‘It’s also hard in my industry because there are so many interesting people,’ she added.

Cabello said it ‘feels hard to meet people right now,’ explaining that she’s ‘not a hook-up culture person.’
