In leading a Liquid Death advertising video, Chace Crawford severs his fictitious sustainability role with the water corporation.
This week’s trailer for ‘The Boys’ season three included Chace Crawford’s Supe discussing the destructive pollution that ends up in our oceans. Oh, The Deep, when will you ever learn?
The Deep introduces his new position as Chief Sustainability Associate for Liquid Death, a real canned water firm, in what initially appears to be a semi-educational video. “Scientists and some of the dolphins I’ve talked to say that by 2050, plastic pollution will outweigh fish life pound for pound in our oceans,” he says, revealing some pretty alarming data.
The Deep then shotguns a can of the mountain water before lighting a plastic fire on the beach of all of the waste he’s collected, essentially undoing all of the great work he and his little helpers have been doing for the ocean, thus creating even more pollution. These Supes sure aren’t the brightest of beings.
Take a look at the video below.
Remember that time The Deep got an endorsement deal from @LiquidDeath and then was almost immediately fired for burning plastic and making them look stupid? We do. #deathtoplastic #DeathToAllSupes pic.twitter.com/lAph2ms7LR

Following the release of the tongue-in-cheek video, Liquid Death has, “effective immediately”, retracted all of their ties with the character from ‘The Boys’ and all of the people at Vought International. Yikes, Homelander might not be happy with this quick turn of events.
There hasn’t been a glimpse of any of the characters in action since the conclusion of ‘The Boys’ season two, which debuted on Amazon Prime in 2020, until this brief and somewhat teaser for season three.
As of right now, ‘The Boys’ season three has no official release date, so it’s possible that we won’t see The Supes in action until 2022. However, we do know that four new “superheroes” will be joining the Vought International team. There will be Sean Patrick Flanery as Gunpowder, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic, and Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk in addition to Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy. There will also likely be a highly bizarre incident that is taken straight out of the comic books that serve as the basis for the television show.
