Even by her outrageous fashion standards, Lady Gaga stepped out in very daring look on Tuesday.
The pop star perhaps revealed more than she bargained for as she stepped out in silver shorts – which she wore without underwear – that turned out to be semi-sheer while out in New York City.
The 30-year-old also wears the skimpy outfit in her new music video for her single Perfect Illusion, which was also released on Tuesday.

The pop icon looked relaxed in the skimpy sheer short shorts as she stopped to greet some Little Monsters and sign autographs outside the building.
And the Native New Yorker showed off her midriff in a grey, cut-off Tshirt, which also revealed her black lace bra.
Her see-through shorts were cut high in the back and sides, revealing her derriere and toned legs.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, pulled her blonde hair back in a long ponytail, which she tucked under a large brown hat.
The American Horror Story star added round silver sunglasses and gold hoop earrings to her edgy look.
Gaga paired her short shorts with studded black ankle boots.
The Poker Face singer wears the same look in her new music video for her single Perfect Illusion.
The high-energy video begins with the pop star – who recently got her driver’s license – behind the wheel as she drives along a desert road.

She’s then seen singing alone in a black shirt and Daisy Dukes, before the video cuts to her dancing in the skimpy silver shorts and crop top.
The Perfect Illusion video also shows Gaga belting out the lyrics into a microphone as she dances at a crowded concert, and wraps her arms around Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker, who worked with her on her new album.

The song is the first single from her upcoming new album Joanne, which will be released on October 21.

‘I just want to say… I love Taylor so, so much, and this song is not a hit out against Taylor. He’s my best friend.’

On Monday, it was announced the singer will headline the Super Bowl half time show in Houston, Texas on February 5.
It comes after Gaga wowed the crowd with a moving rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 50 earlier this year.
The Golden Globe-winning actress has also signed on to star in a remake of A Star Is Born, which will costar and be directed by Bradley Cooper.
