Dancing On Ice winner Sonny Jay and his girlfriend Danielle Peazer have announced that they have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, as they shared a sweet video

Dancing On Ice ace Sonny Jay and his other half Danielle Peazer have announced the birth of their first child.

The delighted couple, who’ve been together since 2023, shared the joyful news on Sunday, May 12,with an adorable video introducing their newborn daughter. “And then there were 3…She’s here and she’s perfect,” they gushed in the caption.

The post attracted a slew of well-wishers congratulating the new parents. Perrie Edwards responded: “Omg Congratulations gorgeous! Enjoy every second of that perfect baby bubble.” Meanwhile, Olly Murs quipped: “Awww huge congratulations.” Capital Breakfast colleague, Sian Welby expressed her emotion: “Why am I crying! Im so happy for you both.”

Danielle, aged 35, previously dated One Direction’s Liam Payne. She took to her Instagram Story following all the heartfelt messages to thank everyone for the love shown towards her little one’s arrival. The new mum admitted to being “so overwhelmed” by the response and described her newfound journey of parenthood as “beautiful chaos”.

“So overwhelmed by all of the lovely comments and messages on baby girls arrival. Thank you so much,” wrote Danielle on her Instagram Story. “Life has been the most beautiful chaos since she was born – there have been highs higher than I ever thought possible but the emotional and hormonal rollercoaster has also been intense at times. We’re finding our way with the help and support of friends and family whilst creating our own story on this new family.”

Next, the excited mum offered praise to her devoted partner Sonny, who clinched victory on Dancing On Ice in 2021 and is recognisable to Britain’s Got Talent fans as a member of boy band Loveable Rogues. She expressed her gratitude for his presence throughout their parenting journey.

She wrote: “I 100000% could not and wouldn’t want to do this with anyone but @sonnyjay – by my side at every moment and already the best daddy. I can’t believe I’m a mummy, now time to figure out what I’m meant to be doing and give baby girls everything she deserves and more.”

Their exciting news comes five months after they revealed that they were expecting their first child together, with Danielle announcing that they were being primed for their “biggest adventure yet”.

“It’s a secret we’ve been keeping for a while, enjoying this little bubble of excitement and preparing for our biggest adventure so far. But now we feel ready to share this journey with you, including the highs (and inevitable tantrums) it will bring. Arriving Spring 2024,” she penned in January as they unveiled the joyful news.
