SYNOPSIS:While the exact plot of Joe Hill’s proposed sequel to The Black Phone is still a mystery, there are plenty of intriguing possibilities. The sequel might explore The Grabber’s victims’ ability to communicate from the afterlife, perhaps affecting the real world in even more terrifying ways. Another potential direction could delve into The Grabber’s past, uncovering what made him the monster he is. Although nothing is confirmed, audiences can anticipate a compelling and chilling follow-up in The Black Phone 2.-

The Black Phone 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2022 horror hit The Black Phone. Directed by Scott Derrickson and based on Joe Hill’s short story, the original film garnered positive reviews for its chilling narrative and Ethan Hawke’s standout performance as the villain. The movie has maintained significant interest since its release, with hints of a sequel from Derrickson, Hawke, and Hill.Blumhouse’s The Black Phone tells the story of 13-year-old Finney Shaw, who is captured by a serial killer known as The Grabber. Given the rich narrative of Hill’s short story, there is plenty of scope for an intense and terrifying sequel. Derrickson, Hawke, and Hill have all expressed interest in continuing the story, and in 2023, it was officially confirmed that The Black Phone 2 is on the way.
