The Exorcist: Believer is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Sattler. The sixth installment in The Exorcist franchise, IT WILL SERVE AS A DIRECT SEQUEL TO THE EXORCIST (1973). While the film will retroactively affect the continuity of the film series, all of the previous installments will remain canon to its premise. It stars Leslie Odom Jr., Ellen Burstyn, Ann Dowd, and Jennifer Nettles.
