Nina, an undocumented Belarusian immigrant mother, grasps onto a caretaker role to secure a future for herself and her daughter, Isabella, in America. Their sanctuary is the rural abode of Luther, an eccentric old man. Initially, Luther’s home and the surrounding area embody the picturesque charm of rural America. However, as time unfolds, sinister shadows emerge, hinting at a darker reality lurking beneath the facade.
