With news of Hailey Bieber‘s pregnancy, fans are now deciphering a cryptic message from her father, wondering if it hinted at the baby news all along.

The model, 27, announced she was expecting her first child with husband Justin Bieber, 30, on Thursday, showing off her bump in an Instagram video.

It comes a little over two and a half months after Hailey’s actor father Stephen Baldwin, 57, publicly asked for ‘prayers’ for his daughter and son-in-law, sparking concerns for the couple’s marriage.

The Usual Suspects alum reposted a video of Justin singing, which was shared by All Things Possible Ministries founder Victor Marx and captioned: ‘Christians please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection, and draw close to the Lord.’

The 58-year-old evangelist had written that his wife Eileen Marx and Hailey’s mother Kennya Deodato Baldwin ‘pray often together’ for the married couple.

Following her announcement some fans took online to discuss how Stephen’s prayer request might have been linked to her pregnancy.

‘I’m crying Stephen Baldwin can’t keep secrets for s**t,’ one person wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile Stephen took to his Twitter to congratulate the pair on their baby joy.

Reposting a snap from their announcement, he wrote, ‘Love you guys [heart emoji] blessed beyond words. praise God. let’s get ready to have some fun y’all.’

The photo had a Bible verse from John 4:16 that read: ‘God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.’

Victor’s original caption, in the clip reposted by Baldwin, read: ‘There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face and also the enemy doesn’t want them to draw closer to Jesus,’ Victor wrote.

‘So often regardless of the material things or the accolades they often face spiritual warfare that intense and seeks to ship-wreck their faith, marriage, and life in general. So thank you.’

Justin and Hailey had a brief fling in 2016 amid a break in his on/off decade-long romance with Gomez.

When he and the Disney Channel alum, 31, finally called it quits for good in May 2018, Justin fell into Hailey’s arms and they’ve been attached at the hip since.

The pair have spoken candidly about their relationship over the years — including their ‘really tough’ first year of marriage.

Speaking to GQ in 2021, Justin revealed that his and Hailey’s initial difficulties stemmed from ‘trauma’ and ‘just lack of trust.’

Last year the Rhode skincare founder dished that she and Justin would like to try for a family ‘in the next couple of years.’

You don’t know how long that process [of getting pregnant] is every going to take. Definitely no kids this year, that would be a little hectic, I think,’ Hailey told WSJ.

‘There’s this thing that happens for women when you get married. Everybody assumes it’s: ‘First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby,’ the wife of Justin Bieber explained.
