Cates Shocking New Orders For Jason!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has had the same orders from Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) ever since John blackmailed Jason into working for the FBI over two years ago.

As viewers know, Cates made Jason work undercover in order to get information on the Pikeman Group.

If Jason didn’t comply, Cates would use the evidence he had on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that would send Carly to prison for 20 years.

Although Jason’s cover was blown, Cates still wanted to use Jason as bait in the hopes that Pikeman would come after him.

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates Hates Sonny Corinthos!

Although Pikeman is still a threat, there is every possibility that Cates will shift gears. Cates has a long history with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and most of it isn’t good.

Cates recently tried to arrest Sonny for the attack on Jason’s life at the coffee warehouse but he didn’t have enough evidence.

Perhaps Cates will order Jason to get the information on Sonny that he needs. Jason may have to choose between Carly and Sonny.

And given the way Sonny has treated him since Jason came back, it’s likely that Jason won’t hesitate to save Carly and find the evidence against his friend.

GH Spoilers – John Cates suspects Anna Devane Of Heading The Pikeman Group

However, during a recent interrogation with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), Cates implied that he believes that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has taken over for Brennan as Pikeman’s leader. He’s wrong of course, and Jason knows it.

Anna and Jason have secretly been investigating Pikeman on the side and have discovered that the true enemy is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). But Anna has insisted secrecy from Jason so she can take Valentin down herself.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan May Be Tasked To Get Evidence Against Anna Devane

If Cates orders Jason to get evidence against Anna, Jason may be forced to tell him that Valentin is the true force behind the Pikeman Group.

The truth is, whether Cates wants Jason to betray Sonny or Anna, he’s going to have to do as he ordered or else risk sending Carly to prison for 20 years.

Hopefully Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) can somehow neutralize Cates’ threat before Jason has to make an impossible choice.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Will Cates change his order for Jason? Will he target Sonny? Or will he go after Anna?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back right here regularly for all your General Hospital news, information and spoilers!
