Ariana Grande famously gave up all meat and dairy products last November, but her support for animal rights doesn’t stop there.
The 20-year-old singer was spotted in a PETA T-shirt with the slogan ‘Never Be Silent’ written in white on the black fabric, urging those who look upon it to ‘find your voice for animals.’
And Ariana certainly wouldn’t be quiet where she was going, as she headed into a recording studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Grande confirmed her vegan status last November via Twitter, saying: ‘I’ve eaten organically since I was little and always kept meat minimal but today marks my first day as a 100% Vegan!!!! Joyous day’.
The animal rights organisation responded by sending her vegan-friendly recipes, and she couldn’t have been more thankful and happy with the lifestyle change.
‘It’s definitely something to celebrate. My heart feels very happy with this decision.’

Ariana has also vocalised her anger at Seaworld, after watching the damning documentary Blackfish, which details the maltreatment of killer whales in captivity, as well as the injuries sustained by trainers – some of which have been fatal – while working at the theme park.
‘I highly recommend all of my fans watch #Blackfish and never go to @SeaWorld again. … Beyond heartbroken #Free Tilly,’ Ariana tweeted after watching the documentary on CNN, which became the network’s most tweeted about broadcast of 2013.
Nine musical acts, including Willie Nelson, have cancelled their performances at various Seaworld locations, following the public outcry against the company, and it goes without saying Ariana would never step foot in one again.
On Monday, the singer admitted that she would be a ‘studio rat for the next few days’ but promised fans on Twitter that she had ‘no words to describe how stoked I am about this new music …. feels really special.’
Ariana’s split from The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes has no doubt given her more time to focus on her music.
For Nathan’s sake, let’s hope she doesn’t take a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s song-writing book for the new album.
