In Boruto manga chapter 77, Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga were sent to another dimension by Kawaki.
So what will happen to the Seventh Hokage and his wife there? The newly released chapter 78 of the Boruto manga has revealed a bit of information.
1. Now Naruto is in a dimension where time is frozen
Uzumaki Naruto in Boruto
Kawaki explained in Boruto chapter 78 about Daikokuten – a Shinjutsu that allows the user to access a dimension where time has no effect.
Naruto and Hinata are currently in that dimension. In Kawaki’s opinion, Naruto and Hinata will not age or worry about hunger while there. So, even though Naruto and Hinata were locked up for a long time in another dimension, they remained the same as when they were first locked up until they got out.
2. Hinata and Naruto were sent to another dimension because of their good intentions
Kawaki sets a trap for Hinata and Naruto
Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga were sent to another dimension by Kawaki since chapter 77. However, Kawaki’s purpose for this action was not bad. Kawaki will do anything to protect Naruto, including killing everyone in the Otsutsuki clan.
That means Kawaki’s target includes Boruto – whose body is closer to an Otsutsuki than a normal human. Of course, Naruto wouldn’t allow it, leading Kawaki to make the final decision to send him and Hinata to another dimension.
Kawaki said once he was done, he would allow Naruto to take his life.
3. It’s still unknown how long Naruto and Hinata will be stuck
We know that Naruto and Hinata are in a dimension where time is frozen. But how long will they be there? The answer to this question is not yet available. But if we consider the words that Kawaki said in chapter 1 at the beginning of the Boruto manga, “I will reunite you and your father, Boruto”, then who knows it will be quite a while.
It’s even possible that Naruto and Hinata are stuck in another dimension for several years. Because looking at the appearance of Naruto and Kawaki in chapter 1, they look quite different from the present, they are both more mature.
Additionally, at the end of Boruto chapter 78, Momoshiki told Boruto that everything in his dream (the dream at the beginning of the manga) was about to come true.
