What Comes Next For Valentin In The Wake Of Charlotte’s Shooting?

General Hospital Spoilers suggest Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) troubles are just beginning. For months, Charlotte has carried Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) torch against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in hopes of getting Anna out of her father’s life.

The last thing she thought she would be confronted with was potentially losing her own life at the same time.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Getting through surgery was the easy part, contrary to how it felt for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at the time, pacing the hospital waiting room and breaking the news to everyone who inquired.

Valentin did what he could to shelter Charlotte while trying to seek help for her, but he didn’t clue Anna in on what was happening. As he comes to regret that decision, will Charlotte and Anna both pay for his silence?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Future of Vanna is Up in the Air

When Anna tried to convey how she felt to Valentin, it was clear that he couldn’t stomach the sight of her or that conversation at that moment in time.

He needed to get through the seemingly never-ending hours that his little girl was in surgery. While that was understandable to Anna, she knows her relationship with Valentin may never be able to recover from this event in their lives — even if it was an accident.

GH Spoilers Hint Charlotte is Relentless

Valentin won’t be expecting Charlotte’s continued commitment to taking Anna down. After everything she has been through and how badly things could have ended, he’s going to be more concerned than ever that her sole focus remains on taking Anna down.

Trying to reconcile what has transpired and how she came to carry this vendetta won’t get him very far, but rumor has it Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may have some insight that only serves to deepen Valentin’s concern.

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Isn’t Culpable

Anna may continue to blame herself for this event, but Valentin knows he’s more to blame than she is.

While Laura Collins (Genie Francis) might do her best to convince him that Victor is the real bad guy in this situation, Valentin won’t be able to shirk the feeling of responsibility he feels for not telling Anna that Charlotte was so unstable and a potential real threat to her.

Of course, he never could have seen this coming, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to kick himself while he’s down for keeping the truth from Anna.

Had she known, she may have held off on shooting before getting a better visual of the person standing in her living room. Keep checking back for us for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how this storyline continues to develop.
