It’s just a promotional schedule to release his debut album, but JungKook continuously makes fans excited with performances that couldn’t be more spectacular.

Releasing a solo album for the first time in his career, BTS member JungKook not only introduced fans to a new side of his musical taste. Album Golden is also a way for the male singer to thank the audience for supporting him during the past time. Therefore, he stepped up the promotion schedule for this album and each performance was calculated to bring the greatest impact to the audience.

Instead of appearing on regular music shows in Korea, JungKook, with the intention of becoming a global artist, chose “American advancement” to promote the album Golden – an important milestone in his career.

Not unexpectedly, the appeal of Kpop’s top male idol was proven again when JungKook was continuously invited to appear on famous Chinese television shows.

The original schedule announced that Jungkook would be a guest on talk show The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon . The next day he will perform on the morning show Today Show . 

But after that, the male singer “surprised” fans when he continued to perform live a series of songs from the album Golden at an event at Times Square. The performance was like a mini concert in the middle of central New York.

After an impressive countdown on a large building, Jung Kook stepped on stage with the dancers and performed his performance. He brought songs from the recently released hit single including: Standing Next to You , which was just released, as well as  3D and Seven , two songs that have continuously topped the Billboard chart recently.

Besides, the performance in Times Square was even more special when Jungkook performed live for the first time other songs on the album such as Yes or No and Please Don’t Change .

JungKook’s performance is a program organized by TSX Entertainment. TSX is a unique boxed performance stage with the singers’ performance area resembling a large balcony. However, this mobile stage is still extremely majestic with sound systems, lights and giant LED screens streaming live for the audience to watch. The promotional event of the youngest member BTS also received a lot of favors from big brands such as Hilton, XBOX or Calvin Klein – brands that have a close connection with JungKook.

As a surprise event, the crew of the youngest BTS member only announced the event 30 minutes before the performance started. However, Jungkook’s influence is “no joke”. In just half an hour, the streets around Times Square were filled with people, not afraid of the cold wind, waiting for Jungkook’s performance. The number of people watching the show online , through BTS’s official YouTube channel and through Xbox’s Twitch channel, also quickly gained more than 280,000 views.

It can be seen that JungKook’s stages at the Today Show and  Times Square are clear evidence of his professional attitude in his journey to become a global artist. Even when participating in album promotion sessions, each performance stage is invested and carefully prepared from live vocals to dance skills.
