Instagram Model Outsmarts Lakers’ Max Christie for Pursuing An Extramarital Relationship

An Instagram model called out Max Christie for trying to cheat on his girlfriend.

Max Christie has seemingly found himself in hot water after an Instagram model claimed he tried to cheat on his girlfriend. A video went viral on X on Tuesday night, where two models spoke about the situation.

“Max Christie f*** you because you got a girlfriend,” one of the models said. “You be adding my bi*** back (on Snapchat) to f*** her even though you’re not getting any p**** from her.”

(starts at 1:07 mark):

It did seem as if the blonde woman didn’t really want to say it was Christie, but her friend blurted it out without any hesitation. The friend had stated his name earlier in the video as well and was told to shut up.

She clearly did not want the name to get out for whatever reason. As for her story, Christie hit her up and gave her a time limit of one hour, which seemed to really annoy her for some reason. He apparently wanted to get right into it, but she didn’t end up going.

She then claimed that Christie added her on Snapchat, but of course, there is no way to verify any of this. The 20-year-old would never admit it, even if on the odd chance this did really happen.

It is unclear whether Christie is actually dating anyone at the moment either. He announced he was in a relationship with Sydney Parrish, who plays for the Indiana Hoosiers, last year, but it appears the two have broken up now.

Max Christie Has Failed To Make An Impact With The Lakers In 2023-24

Christie was selected with the 35th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by theĀ Los Angeles LakersĀ and had his moments as a rookie for the franchise. It was expected that he’d start pushing for a bigger role in the rotation in his sophomore season but hasn’t really made an impact so far.

He’s averaging 3.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.4 blocks per game at this point while shooting just 32.1% from the field and 18.2% from beyond the arc. With so much competition for places on the Lakers, you’re not going to get minutes if you don’t perform and that’s the situation he finds himself in.

The likes of Cam Reddish have had far better starts to the campaign and Christie has been relegated to playing in garbage time.

Max Christie Might Not Be A Laker For Much Longer

Christie had his moments as a rookie as I mentioned earlier, but he wasn’t exactly setting the NBA on fire. Still, his team thought very highly of him, so much so, that theĀ Lakers did not want to trade Max Christie or Austin Reaves for Kyrie Irving.

While Reaves has repaid their faith by going from strength to strength, Christie has not. That opens the door for him to be traded and unfortunately for him, a certain someone in Chicago is available for trade as per reports.

The Lakers are one of the teams interested in Zach LaVine, with NBA insider Shams Charania reporting there is more openness from both the player and the Bulls for a trade. If the Lakers do end up landing LaVine, Christie is almost certainly going to be a part of the package.

He hasn’t shown himself to be worthy of having the status of an untouchable player and the Bulls would be interested in getting young players like him in return if enter a rebuild.
