Last night, contradictory reports emerged about Real Madrid and France midfielder Eduardo Camavinga and the supposed injury he sustained while training with the national team.
At first it was suggested that the 21-year-old midfielder was injured and had to step away from training after a collision with Ousmane Dembele, sparking concerns about his condition.
But soon after, it emerged that Camavinga’s issue was nothing serious and that he was fine and would return to training as per normal for today’s sessions.
Concern over Camavinga’s injury
However, overnight, there were more developments and more tests were carried out by the France medical staff, following which it was decided that Camavinga would leave the national team camp and return to Real Madrid
This claim comes from Jose Luis Sanchez, who goes on to add that the 21-year-old will arrive in Madrid today and undergo further MRI and other tests to determine the severity of his condition.
Another update from journalist Alberto Pereiro claims that Camavinga felt more discomfort after the first round of tests and was unable to move his knee freely or bend it.
It has sparked concerns and naturally Real Madrid wish to conduct their own examinations and scans to get an understanding of the issue.
With Aurelien Tchouameni already out for the foreseeable future, Los Blancos will be hoping that they do not lose Camavinga to an injury as well.
More updates will emerge once the Frenchman is back in the Spanish capital and undergoes an MRI.
