Man United is about to receive a “super huge” offer for captain midfielder Bruno Fernandes from a club in Saudi Arabia. Accordingly, the price can be up to 100 million euros.
Fernandes is one of MU’s most important players in recent seasons. However, according to Fichajes, the Red Devils are facing the risk of losing their captain in the next summer transfer window when several top clubs in Saudi Arabia are pursuing him.
According to the latest information, a team is even ready to offer a huge price of 100 million euros (87 million pounds) to recruit the 29-year-old player at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Previously, there was news that representatives of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) would hold negotiations with the representative of the Portuguese midfielder. PIF owns 80% of Newcastle United’s shares and also controls the four largest Saudi Pro League teams: Al Hilal, Al Ahli, Al Nassr and Al Ittihad.
This investment fund has signed some big names for their clubs recently, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar and Riyad Mahrez.
Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford in 2020 from Sporting Lisbon with a contract worth up to £60 million. The Portugal international has since scored a total of 68 goals and added 57 assists in 201 appearances for Man United.
The playmaker’s consistent performances led to him being given the captaincy after Harry Maguire was discredited. This season, Fernandes has scored 4 goals and 3 assists after 16 appearances in all competitions.
