The content creator and model, from Brighton, said she hadn’t even considered getting a tattoo until shortly before her 19th birthday.
Bethany’s family dog, Turbo, had recently died and she wanted to commemorate him permanently.
She got her first tattoo of a wolf howling at the moon, in remembrance of her dog, on the side of her ribcage.
From there, Bethany has gone on to get countless tattoos covering almost every inch of her body.
She also has nine piercings including seven in her ears and others on her tongue and belly button.
In total, Bethany has spent an incredible £20,000 on the artwork, which took 300 painful hours to complete.
And she said numerous men have proposed to her since.
Her boyfriend, Josh, 25, is able to laugh at the proposals – and insists the attention has not put him off one day popping the question himself.
Bethany said: “I got my first tattoo shortly before my 19th birthday, my family dog Turbo had died and I wanted to honour him.
“However, I didn’t just want a portrait of him – he had this quirk where he howled like a wolf – and so I got a wolf to symbolise that on my ribcage.
“I loved how that looked and my family was supportive and understanding, I decided to expand from there.
“My next tattoo was an angel on my back that I had covered as it wasn’t in the traditional Japanese style I love.
“All my tattoos are in the traditional Japanese style, and tell a story.
“I have the majority of my body covered with them except my face, armpits and left leg.
“People on social media tend to have mixed reactions, I have received my fair share of trolls and haters saying I am ‘self-harming’.
“I have also gotten quite a few marriage offers from men online saying things like ‘I like you, and want to marry you’ or sending me pictures of myself saying ‘you on our wedding day’.
“My boyfriend, Josh, finds the people who send these messages hilarious, but also feels lucky to be the one that is my partner and hopes to one day ask the same question ”
Bethany originally started tattooing heavily as she was insecure about the way she looked.
“I was an overweight child and have suffered through weight issues my entire life,” she said.
“I hated the way I looked in mirrors and was incredibly self-conscious throughout my childhood.
“This was the main reason I got tattoos, I like looking at my skin now.
“Getting tattoos and having beautiful art on my skin to look at also inspired me to take up the fitness, where I’ve smashed running and weight lifting goals – I never would have guessed any of it was possible.
“It’s had a massive positive impact on my health both physically as well as mentally.”
She added: “I am also a Harley Davidson motorcycle rider, which tends to shock people”
Bethany believes going down the path of tattooing has changed her life for the better.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today, or the person I am today without tattooing,” she says.
“I am now a model and I spend most of my time in front of a camera which is something I could not have imagined for myself in my childhood.
“I am in the happiest relationship of my life and my partner is also a member of the tattooing community which is what brought us together.
“This one decision gave me so much, I wouldn’t change it for the world and I have no regrets.”
