BlackPink was honored to be a distinguished guest at the national banquet between Korea and England, taking place at Buckingham Palace organized by King Charles.

According to Naver,  on the morning of November 22, the group  BlackPink was present in England to attend a national banquet of Korea and England, taking place at Buckingham Palace.

King Charles honored BlackPink with his own name

The party was held on the occasion of Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the UK to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.

The event was attended by many British and Korean officials, including Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and members of the royal family.

BlackPink attended the banquet as ambassadors of COP26 – the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Here, four members of BlackPink were honored by King Charles for many activities that brought the message of sustainable environmental protection to a global audience.

In particular, King Charles mentioned each BlackPink member by name, saying: “It’s very special and inspiring to see the young Korean generation supporting the cause.

I applaud Jennie, Jisoo,  Lisa  and Rose, collectively known as BlackPink, for playing an important role in bringing the message of sustainable environmental protection to a global audience as COP26 ambassadors.” .

BlackPink’s honorable moment is being widely shared on social networking sites.

This is the first time all BlackPink members have appeared publicly in front of the media, after the Born Pink world tour .

Currently, the issue of contract renewal with  YG Entertainment  of BlackPink members is of concern to fans.

According to some rumors, only 2 out of 4 BlackPink members agreed to re-sign the group contract, the remaining 2 have not yet agreed.

In response to this information, YG Entertainment said: “Nothing has been confirmed and we are discussing.”
