Kourtney Kardashian Barker may be willing to forgive, but she’s certainly not going to forget.
Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians picked up where last week’s left off — with Kourtney and Tristan Thompson finally sitting down to discuss his wrongdoings, particularly when it came to his relationship with Kourtney’s younger sister Khloé Kardashian.
As Tristan, 32, took accountability for his actions and repeated infidelities, Kourtney, 44, pointed out how fortunate he is to be part of their family — regardless of his past mistakes.
“In this family, you guys are so lucky — all the guys — because for whatever reason, it’s held a higher priority of, ‘Let’s keep everyone happy and getting along, and let’s make sure Tristan is at Christmas Eve and everyone’s there, and it’s one big happy family and let’s make sure everything’s fun and happy,'” Kourtney said. “For some reason, that takes a priority in this family over setting a boundary or having someone’s back or having someone’s side.”

Admitting she has “done it myself,” Kourtney continued, “I’ve been a part of this whole thing, but it’s interesting to me when I think about it in a superficial way.”
“We can make sure Khloé looks her best … but really making sure that the person feels supported, stood up for, sets the boundaries they need to set and is supported in that,” she added. “And in this family, it’s not [supported]. It’s lucky for you guys and it is great for the kids, but then it’s also like…”
As her voice trailed off, Tristan agreed that he was lucky to be surrounded by a supportive family and vowed to “own” his missteps and “be better.”

Kourtney Kardashian Says Tristan Thompson Doesn’t ‘Deserve Khloé’ as He Admits He Doesn’t Know ‘How to Love’
“I’m not proud of the person I used to be. Am I proud of the person I’m becoming? Of course, but in order for that to happen, I had to fall, hit rock bottom, lose everything in life and really be like, ‘Yo, you gotta pick your s— up,'” he said. “I needed to grow so I can be better for my kids.”
However, Kourtney wasn’t fully convinced. In a confessional, the Poosh founder told cameras that she’s “not here to hold a grudge” and does “believe that people can grow,” but expressed her skepticism about Tristan’s words and actions.
“It was interesting to me, the work that he’s doing and the path that he’s on, because when your words don’t match your actions, it’s concerning,” she said. “Talk is cheap. In our family, everyone can tend to normalize these behaviors of some of the men in our lives and I don’t want to show my daughter that that’s OK.”
“I think having forgiveness and giving grace is right, but also having really clear boundaries, I think is really important,” she added.

Kourtney’s comments were not only directed at Tristan, but they also evoked her own relationship with ex Scott Disick, as well as several of her other sisters’ significant others.
Khloé, 39, and Tristan began dating on and off in 2016. He cheated on her multiple times, including once just days before their daughter True was born and another time with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods in 2019. Years later, they gave their romance another shot, but it was later revealed in December 2021 that Tristan had fathered a child with Maralee Nicholsaround the same time he and Khloé were secretly expecting their second child via surrogate.
Khloé officially ended their relationship months before the birth of their son Tatum in August 2022 and has since emphasized repeatedly that she has no intention of getting back together.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s Relationship Timeline

They share three children: Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8. Kourtney also just welcomed son Rocky Thirteen with husband Travis Barker on Nov. 1.

Kim Kardashian ‘Had a Lot of Guilt’ After Pete Davidson Breakup: ‘He Went Through A Lot Because of My Relationship’
Kim Kardashian has also faced some hardships in her relationship past — most notably with ex-husband Kanye West.
Kim and Kanye divorced in February 2021 after six years of marriage. The former couple – who began dating in 2011 and share four kids, daughter North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 — saw their marriage land in crisis at the height of West’s public outbursts in 2020 after he launched a controversial bid for president of the United States and divulged deeply personal details about his family and marriage on the campaign trail and on Twitter.
Amid their divorce, Kanye hurled antisemitic rants online and also began attacking Kim and her new boyfriend at the time Pete Davidson both online and in the press, including in a video for his single “Eazy” in which the rapper kidnapped, tied up and buried a claymation version of Pete.

Kylie Jenner has also had a very up-and-down relationship with rapper Travis Scott, with whom she shares daughter Stormi, 5, and son Aire, 21 months. They dated on and off since 2017, but split again earlier this year. She is now dating actor Timothée Chalamet.
Despite the missteps by her sisters’ exes, all of the women have generally remained on good terms long past the relationships’ ends, striving to maintain a good friendship and co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.
