The organizers of the Funny Animal Photo Awards have just released the first series of photos for this year’s competition.
According to CNN, the 6th Annual Funny Animal Photo Awards is currently accepting entries and the organizers have just announced many animal images with funny gestures and poses sent from all over the world.
Photographers record many images of animals expressing human-like emotions or humorous situations.
Founded by two British photographers, Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks, the award aims to raise awareness about wildlife conservation as well as provide people with enjoyable moments of entertainment.
Additionally, they hope the images will encourage people to shop responsibly, use water sparingly and speak up about environmental issues. The award is accepting entries until June 30. Below are some wildlife images submitted by photographers for this year’s contest.
