RM (BTS): “Expressing hatred in the digital age has become too easy”

The leader of BTS expressed concern about so much hatred and negativity taking place on social networks today.

In a conversation with Colde – a Korean singer, RM – a member of the group BTS – expressed his views on love and hatred in the new era. Specifically, RM shared about the reason why he is always urged to sing about the topic of love.

“A month or two ago, I was chatting with a senior artist with whom I compose music. We discussed why love is necessary, why humans are programmed to constantly love . The motivation to love is simply because love exists within us. It is an undeniable feeling,” the Kpop star shared.

“In today’s social age, expressing hate or hatred has become so easy,” RM continued, “The energy of hating and belittling someone seems more disturbing. Finally, I believes that talking about love and spreading love and positivity are good things to do.”

The BTS leader’s sharing has received a lot of attention from the online community. In fact, hatred is something that every famous star, especially Kpop stars, has to face every day. On websites or online platforms, audiences come together to discuss many issues. In particular, negative issues about idols always attract audiences and this is also the reason why hatred spreads more and more.

This is also the reason why RM in particular and BTS in general want to spread love through music, bringing positive melodies and content about love.
