She was a member of Taylor Swift’s team that worked to realize her vision for the Bad Blood video.
And Taylor’s closest friend Selena Gomez partied late into the night with her as she honored her Video of the Year Moonman at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night.
When Selena attended the Republic Records afterparty at Ysabel in Los Angeles, she looked stunning in a sultry double split dress and received a kiss from her famous friend.
Following their group photo op at the Microsoft Theater earlier in the evening, Selena and Taylor struck up a photo shoot with Bad Blood ladies Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt, and Hailee Steinfeld.
Eager to carry on the celebration following Bad Blood’s win for one of the largest gongs of the evening, coupled with two further victories for Taylor’s 1989 album hit Blank Space, the girls headed to the star-studded, Marriott Rewards-sponsored afterparty located across town.
Taylor looked stunning in her matching Ashish pants and dazzling houndstooth crop top, accessorized with metallic Christian Louboutin heels.
Selena, on the other hand, flaunted her ample leg as she entered the celebration wearing a double-slitted Gabriela Cadena cut-out mesh dress.
The singer hurried inside wearing her revealing gown and tall heels, shielding her face with her palm as she appeared a little shy.
Selena was partying hard after she arrived at the star-studded event, though, while Taylor and her pals posed for a group photo at their VIP table.
Selena boasted, “I have the hottest dates,” on her Instagram page earlier in the evening as the foursome rapidly became the topic of the star-studded red carpet.
Selena wrote with pride on social media after her best friend won the coveted Video of the Year award, saying, “I wouldn’t have it any other way!” SHE SUCCEADED! Video of the Year! I’m really happy for all the women! That’s the real point of it!
For her major statement, Taylor invited her friends to the stage. She thanked Kendrick Lamar, her songwriting collaborator, and then she had a message for her fans regarding the contentious video.
