With the AFC title game approaching, C-Mac says the outlook of the conference and a healthy Aaron Rodgers should have the Jets still playing football at this time next year.
“As we watch these NFL playoffs and see the AFC, specifically the AFC East, let me tell you something right now…next year, this Jet team is going to be as good as any,” C-Mac said. “The Jets have a window here with Aaron Rodgers that I’ve never felt better about, watching these playoffs in the AFC.
“When you look at this division that Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will be in next year…I feel as good as I’ve ever felt about this window for the New York Jets.”
C-Mac isn’t impressed with the Chiefs right now, regardless of their track record and recent wins, while he sees the AFC East as one that is weakening around Gang Green. If the Jets can make the right moves in the offseason, there is no reason why they can’t be competing for a Super Bowl appearance in 2025.
“With a healthy Aaron Rodgers, a top 10 pick, and this defense,” C-Mac said. “You can be right here in this spot a year from today.”
