Stephen A. Smith told New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers to ‘stay your a** home’ as he’s attempting a comeback to football less than three months after tearing his Achilles.
‘You’re playing for nothing, what are we doing? Stay your a** home,’ Smith said Friday. ‘Go on the Pat McAfee show every Tuesday.’
‘What purpose does it serve? It’s a stupid thing to do. Sit your ass home,’ Smith continued.
Smith added that there’s no competitive advantage to Rodgers
Rodgers tore his Achilles on September 11 and the injury typically comes with a six-to-nine-month recovery. Any return to the gridiron the rest of the regular season would severely buck that trend.
